Foster and maintain fellowship amongst the past pupils of Hartley College, Point Pedro, Srilanka.

To maintain links with the present Hartley College authorities and students.
To maintain links with similar associations of Past Pupils of Hartley College in other parts of the world.
To associate with other organisations with similar objectives, of past pupils of colleges from Srilanka and based in Melbourne.
To assist the students at Hartley College in maintaining (and improving) the standards set in the past.
Generally to do, engage in and execute all such other acts, deeds or things as are or may be necessary for or incidental or conducive to the attainment of the objectives of the association.
Aug. 2001: The Founding of HCPPA-Victoria Branch
The Victoria Branch of the Hartley College Past Pupils Association was
inaugurated on 29 June 1991. Many members may not know the events that led
to the formation of the Association and for that reason it may be of interest
to recall them when we are celebrating our 10th anniversary. It all started
with a letter I received from Dr B. Muhunthan, who studied with me at Hartley
and the University of Peradeniya. Muhunthan was then a postgraduate student in
