Mrs. Vasanthanayaki Radhakrishnan
Mrs. Vasanthanayaki Radhakrishnan passed away at the age of 62 on the 9th of January 2010 at 6am (Vallianantham, Thunalai).
Having taught A-level Geography and History at many schools, she was promoted as an In Service Advisor for Point Pedro zone as well as the chief examination auditor. After she retired, at the age of 59, she was working as a voluntary teacher at Methodist Girls High School and was an active PPA committee member; she was also the secretary for the Vallianatham Temple Committee.
Vasanthnayaki was the;
- Beloved wife of the Late Balasubramaniam Radhakrishnan.
- Daughter of the Late Thamotharampillai Segarajasingham (Hartleyite, Jaffna) and the Late Sellammah Segarajasingham.
- Sister of Shanthanayaki Rajendran and Segarajahsingham Nagarajah (Hartleyite, London).
- Sister-in-law of Subramaniam Rajendran and Rathydevy Nagarajah.
- Maternal aunt to Rajendran Manoranchan (Hartleyite, Canada), Rajendran Sanjiv (Hartleyite, Colombo).
- Paternal aunt to Nirooshi Nagarajah, Nitharshi Nagarajah.
