Mrs. Ratnasothy Pakkiaratnam

Mrs. Ratnasothy Pakkiaratnam of Townsville, Australia passed away on Sunday, 26 February 2012. She was born in Trincomalee and has previously lived at N.M Lane, Point Pedro and Bar Road, Batticaloa.

She is the beloved wife of late Pakkiaratnam (Customs officer, Attorney-at-Law) of Batticaloa and mother of Dr. Sri Piriyadharsan (Australia, Hartleyite 58-68), Dr. Sri Vidhyadharsan (UK, Hartleyite 60-69), Jagajanani (Attorney-at-Law) and Rupini Yogakanthi (Australia)

She is also survived by daughters-in-law Premaselee and Selvavathy and sons-in-Law Balasingam (UK, Hartleyite 59-68) and Dr Yogakanthi (Australia) and grandchildren Dr Sasikala, Sashika, Rakshmi, Asha, Rakshan, Mekeran, Anjenna and Eashwar.

Funeral services were held in Townsville, Queensland, Australia under Hindu rituals. Cremation took place in Townsville, Australia on March 01, 2012.
