Mr. Ponniah Alvapillai

Mr. Ponniah Alvapillai, husband of Mrs Thevarathinamma and a retired customs officer, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2012 in Chennai, India after a brief illness. Mr Ponniah was a marathon runner and a soccer player in Hartley College and lived in Thikkam (Alvai) for most of his life.

He is the beloved father of Dr Senthan (Canberra, Australia) and Venthan (Melbourne, Australia) Shanthan (Toronto, Canada) Mrs Barathy Nesarajah (LA, US) and Mrs Baheerathy Siva (Toronto Canada).


Sunday, February 12, 2012 -- 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM
Funeral will be held in Besent Nagar Crematory,
Chennai, India
