He is survived by his wife Maheswary Sabanayagam, sons S. Thevanayagam (1974 O/L Batch), S. Sanmugavadivel (1980 O/L), S. Mohan (1983 O/L), S. Ratnavel (1985 O/L) living in the USA, and S. Maheswaran (1988 O/L) living in the UK (all Hartleyites); and daughters Anushiyadevi Satcunasingam (Sri Lanka), Vatsaladevi Vijayakumar (UK), Kalawathy Prathapan (UK).
