| London Thames River Cruise by HCPPA UK - 2007 |
|
Dear Hartleyites & Friends,
There is a Cruise along Thames on Saturday the 30th June 2007. This is
the day after all the schools close. You & your children may enjoy this
trip. You can bring your own food & SOFT drinks (Alcohol should be
bought from their three Bars). It will cost you £7.50 per head. Should be
at the picking up point 11.30 a.m. and will be dropped off at 4 p.m.
Then you can visit the parliament, London Eye etc. It will be a good day
out for the whole family. It is advisable to buy family tickets to use
the underground. But if you have enough people you can arrange a coach
to & from the cruise. Please be reminded that HCPPA (UK) is arranging
the Thames Cruise only for £7.50 per head.
If any of you want to join please get in touch with me or any of our
Executive Committee members or Any of our Members of The Board of
Trustees as soon as possible. Only 130 places available. The tickets will be
sold on first come first served basis only.
Please make use of this golden opportunity to have a family day out
with the most prestigious and world famous college's Past Pupil
Association, HCPPA (UK).

- HCPPA (UK) has arranged a Family Day Outing for it's members & friends with a London River Cruise on London River Thames
- The ferry is called Suerita will be sailing around the Thames river for 4 hours with about 130 to 150 Hartleyites, friends, relatives and their families on a private hire.
- Food Hot or cold can be brought on board and can be tasted on board the ship while admiring the beauty of the riverbank from the decks. Alcohol should be bought from their three bars officially.
- There is a bar on the upper deck offers great spots to take family photographs or with friends in the back round of London Land marks.
- You will embark at "Embankment Pier" and will disembark from the same pier.
- In the mid summer of 2007 HCPPA (UK) will assist you to have a day in Thames to remember.
- You can relax and let yourself to sail in Thames in style.
- You will have the golden opportunity to see the world famous Thames River as you cruise through the historic and well-known city in the world, LONDON.
- We will be passing Lambeth Palace, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye, St Paul Cathedral, London Bridge, HMS Belfast, Tower of London and Tower Bridge . to name a few.
- You can finish your day, after the cruise, with a visit to the world famous London Eye or Tower of London.
- This is a golden opportunity to have a family outing with the most prestigious and world famous college's past pupils' association, HCPPA (UK).

Annual Dinner and Dance - HCPPA (UK)

|
Annual Dinner and Dance of HCPPA UK will be held on Saturday, Nov. 20th, 2004.
We are offering an eastern delight of three course sit down meal for a reasonable price. Limited seats available on first come first basis therefore please book your seats early, don't be disappointment like last year.
We would like to provide the guests with some light entertainment(dance for film songs). If anyone interested please contact Harri on 020 8248 0510. After the main meal there will be few speeches and then dance/disco until 1.00am.

Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2004 - HCPPA (UK)

Once again it is time for fellow Hartleyites and Friends to get together under the banner of HCPPA(UK). Unlike the previous years, this year the Executive committee decided to have the Annual General Meeting (AGM) one week ahead of our yearly Dinner and Dance. This will give us more time to analyse the issues in detail and make constructive decisions.
Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Sunday, Nov. 14th, 2004.
Nominations for 2005 Executive Committee and any amendments to the constitution shall be received by the Secretary at the above address (17, Barnard Close, Frimley, Camberley, Surrey GU 16 8YP) till midnight of Saturday 30th October 2004. An official Nomination form is enclosed for this purpose.
Nominations requested are for the following posts:
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Sports Secretary, and 4 Committee members. Hartleyites who had paid their membership fee on or before 30th September 2004 are eligible to participate in the election. We urge all the Hartleyites to attend this meeting and participate in constructive discussions. Refreshments will be provided.
