Dear Hartleyite:

Today, we are celebrating the 8th anniversary of the official launch of Hartley College website -- HartleyCollege.org and HartleyCollege.com. The website was launched on November 07, 1998 during the "Tenth Hartleyite Nite" of the HCPPA Canada & USA from Toronto (Canada). Since the inception, the college website has become well-known around the world for connecting Hartleyites and world-wide PPAs, sharing many stories and supporting the College in many ways.

There are about 1650 Hartleyites registered their information in our online database from 38 countries. We get thousands of hits every month for information on Hartley College. Thousands of emails were sent out using our First-Contact email utility. Many HCPPA events and news were announced via the website. Remarkably the website has up been running continuously without any disruption. The website contains enormous amount of useful information about the college, her PPAs, her teachers and students.

Integral to the success of our website is the dedicated webteam and the HCPPA representatives who have helped us to reach where we are now. We would like to acknowledge HCPPA Ottawa Division for their initiative for the website and HCPPA Canada & USA for their moral support since the inception of the website. HCPPA Canada & USA does voluntarily support our website financially by paying a portion of the domain/hosting charges annually.

We will continue to provide services to Hartleyites, her PPAs, and the College through the website. We knew that there are many overdue projects. In the near future, we have plans to open an online database for teachers and a photo gallery which can be used by Hartleyites to upload and share Hartley College related photos. We will work even more closely with the College and her PPAs in the coming years.

While appreciating your comments and suggestions that shaped the site in its appearance and contents so far, we solicit your continued contributions, suggestions, feedbacks and participation to provide Hartleyites and Hartley College with improved services and to make the website as one of the best tools to support our Alma Mater.
