Obituary Notice of Mr. Kanapathipillai Velumailum

We regret to inform that Mr. Kanapathipillai Velumailum passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 morning in Toronto, Canada. Mr. Velumailum was born in Vallipuram, Point Pedro and had resided in Chundikuli, Jaffna and Toronto.

He was the only son to Kandiah Kanapathipillai & Parvathy of Vallipuram, and raised solely by his widowed mother at a young age.

Beloved husband of late Vallinayaki Velumailum (Madduvil). Formerly a teacher in Point Pedro, and later as an Insurance Organizer with Insurance Corporation of Sri Lanka (ICSL), Mr. Velumailum was a respected member of the community, having won many awards and recognitions in the Insurance industry from the ICSL. He will be missed dearly by his family, relatives and friends.
