THE HISTORY OF OUR SCHOOL DURING THE LAST DECADES
In an effort to compile the history of Hartley College, the webteam has decided to electronically collect and assemble your memories of the College over the last decades.
These events and memories can be categorized into three memorable periods such as:
| I | Pooranampillai Era | 1943 - 1967 |
| II | Pre-war Era | 1968 - 1982 |
| III | War Era | 1983 - Present |
Though the focus is on the last era with many painful memories, we welcome stories of other times as well. It should be noted that the above grouping is for the sole purpose of effective information management and reporting.
We welcome all the Hartleyites around the world to provide us with your memories to build up a history of Hartley College in those periods. Multiple entries of the same incident will be allowed since many Hartleyites knew a few bits and pieces of information of the same incident. When submitting your memory, please identify the periods it happened.
Some of the events are: library demolition, relocation, military occupation, contribution for freedom struggle, any other significant incident of public importance etc.
