 Fund to save Mr. S. Leo Arul Gnanaraj

    (^) Friends of Mr. S. Leo Arul Gnanaraj, a Hartleyite, humbly request you to make your kind contribution for a fund to save Mr. Gnanaraj's life. Mr. Arul Gnanaraj requires an urgent kidney transplant surgery immediately without further delay.

    He studied at Hartley College during the period 1988 to 1996. His O/L batch is 1993 and A/L batch is 1996. Currently, he is a final year student of Textile Engineering (99/00) at the University of Moratuwa.

    He has undergone a severe un-consciousness due to mal-function of his kidney operation. He is admitted to the National Hospital of Colombo. His both kidneys were failed (Chronic Renal Failure) and Doctors advised to have an urgent kidney transplant surgery immediately without further delay. The estimated operation and other cost is 10 lakhs (LKR). His parents are not rich enough to meet the medical cost.

    The Hartleyites at University of Moratuwa are currently preparing to collect a lump sum to meet the expenses of surgery within a very short period of time and humbly request you to make your kind contribution for this fund rising as soon as possible.

    *As of March 05th 2004, Mr. S. Leo Arul Gnanaraj, is still in National Hospital of Colombo. His operation is expected to be carried out in Apollo Hospital most probably next week (The date is not fixed yet). Every day his blood is transfused and if he was admitted to private hospital the cost would have been Rs 40000.00 per day for the transfusion only. 90% of the testing on his father has been completed in Apollo Hospital to transfer his kidney to Leo Arul Gnanaraj.
